Maximum Demand Control in Factory, Sungai Buloh

This factory has invested in a solar panel system to go green. Prior to the installation of the solar panels (GCPV), the TNB maximum demand (MD) could peak above 1,000 kW per month.

After installation of solar panels, the maximum demand drops to about 900 kW. This is not good enough.

By controlling the maximum demand (MD), our energy management program has allowed the factory to further cut its monthly maximum demand to about 650kW per month. This is achieved with no impact on production output.

By doing proper production control, a savings of (900kW-650kW) x RM37 (TNB Maximum Demand Charge) = RM9,250 can be realized.

A savings of RM10,000 just by proper production control.
